Who is Served: 13 to 7 families, including parents working toward recovery and their children

About This Project:

Growing Together reimagines the recovery group so that parenting and recovery can happen in harmony. Each week, parents explore contemplative and spiritual practices in a sober, welcoming space at Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church, then connect with their children through family activities that may include art, music, food, and movement. Families are not asked to separate recovery from parenting. They build a community of mutual support.
